Inquiry into renewable and affordable energy for apartments
This Victorian Government inquiry is looking at expanding access to renewable and affordable electricity for people living in apartments, townhouses and other multi-unit dwellings. It will consider current barriers and inequities to accessing renewable and affordable energy and options to increase access.
Along with many others, Let Me Be Frank submitted a paper to the Inquiry, gave a briefing at hearing and followed up with some additional information.
“The inquiry heard energy policy has been designed around detached housing. Apartment residents across Victoria could realise the benefits of renewable and affordable energy with the support of tailored policy, laws and funding models, a parliamentary inquiry has been told.”
As at June 2026, the inquiry is drafting their recommendations report.
